Cet atelier propose une première étude suprarégionale des éléments de ceinture (crochets, agrafes et plaques) au cours du premier millénaire avant notre ère, de l’Ibérie à l’Italie du Nord, en passant par la France méridionale. L’objectif est de proposer des nouveaux modèles d’interprétation concernant la production et l’utilisation de ces éléments du costume et de favoriser le développement d’approches interdisciplinaire alliant aux études archéologique, les approches relevant de l’anthropologie culturelle et sociale.

This workshop provides the first supraregional overview of belt elements (such as hooks and plates) during the 1st millennium BCE from Iberia to northern Italy, via southern France.
The aim is to suggest new scenarios on the production and usage of these objects. To achieve this, an interdisciplinary and critical approach will be adopted using anthropological, social, and cultural methodologies.
