Aucune restitution graphique n’a pu être réalisée jusqu’à présent pour les offrandes du roi Ptolémée au Temple de Jérusalem, en échange du prêt de la Torah, support de la traduction grecque de la Septante. En collaboration avec François Villeneuve et François Ory et grâce au travail soutenu de Mattéo Tanghe, nous pouvons désormais faire voir pour la première fois la table et la vaisselle alexandrine du 3^e-2^e siècle av. J.-C., décrites entre le 1^er s. av. J.-C. et le 1^er s. apr. J.-C. Ce travail fait suite à l’édition des Antiquités Juives XII (Éditions du Cerf, 2021) et sera publié dans un article spécialisé par Anca Dan et François Villeneuve avec Mattéo Tanghe et François Ory, avec une annexe 3D sur Sketchfab.

This is the first graphic reconstruction in 2D and 3D of the gifts sent by the king Ptolemy to the Jerusalem temple, in exchange of the Torah books which would have served as basis for the Hebrew-to-Greek translation of the Septuaginta. Together with François Villeneuve and François Ory and thanks to the exceptional work of Mattéo Tanghe, we can present the first image of these objects. Following the publication of Flavius Josephus’ Jewish Antiquities XII (Éditions du Cerf, 2021), these drawings will be published in a special article by Anca Dan and François Villeneuve with Mattéo Tanghe and François Ory, with an appendix on Sketchfab.
